There is a folder of photos in my phone titled “potential paintings”, full of a combination of my own photos and pictures I come across online. I was looking for inspiration and came across a beautiful photo of the Northern Lights I had previously saved, taken by photographer Even Tryggstrand, I was immediately drawn to the stunning glow and incredible vibrancy of the colors and decided to try and capture it with my acrylic painting. Aurora Aglow is my second ever attempt at a landscape painting on canvas and I am so excited to share it!
