Hello!

My name is Cierra Van Nes and I am the artist behind each of these paintings. I started out making painted greeting cards for my business Cards by Cierra V, but it has always been a dream of mine to sell full sized paintings as well. I decided to expand my business because I am passionate about art and creativity and thought it would be a fun way to earn some extra money for my nursing school tuition. 

 

I am a self-taught painter and usually use acrylic or watercolor paints, but I love to experiment with all different mediums and art styles. I love doing commissioned paintings and getting to know each of my clients and their unique needs to create something special for them. With all that is going on in the world I found that painting has been a wonderful way to convey love and happiness and to be an escape from everyday stressors. Painting brings me so much joy and each piece inspires me to create more and more, I hope they put a smile on your face too!
